    Money Management!

    Problem: Absence of goals/No plan
I don’t have financial goals as of now. I do believe having goals would motivate me to work towards my money management.
Solution: Find or set divisions and set goals.

    Problem: Focus on God

Rather than relying on my money, I wish to trust and lean on God more. Easier said than done but I believe that giving could lead me to trust God’s providence.

Solution: Set a certain amount to give every month

    Two bad time habits:

    1. No schedules: I make an excuse for myself saying I’m a “certain” way and that I can’t follow it even if I were to make a schedule.

    2. No accountability: As long as I get my job done, my environment doesn’t necessarily tails after me to pick up after myself.

Aside from these, a lot of things do change our fixed routines and physically exhausts me so it’s hard to keep up.

    Solutions:

Having accountability via this community and my friends, making the much needed schedule using digital calendars to remind me every now and then.

Having the right mindset i.e. the want to change and not treating it as something we ‘have’ to follow through.

    Rating my current status:

    1. Psychological: 4
    2. Cultural: 2
    3. Knowledge: 2
    4. Economic: 1
    5. Physical: 1.5
    6. Language: 3
    7. Social: 2

    Application:

    1. Psychological: Improve my relationship with God since I believe that almost all, if not every of my psychological needs are met in Him. (Be more present during my daily Bible readings and prayers), intentionally bring the ‘can do it’ attitude to every problem.
    2. Cultural: Actively and intentionally interacting with the local people or being intentional in re-learning my own culture. Being open in my attitude towards everything that comes my way. Practice piano for 30 minutes every day (relearning again)
    3. Knowledge: Relearn Greek grammar (30 minutes a day); Search for new and interesting teaching methods for my students and apply them the next week, try to change my perspective of teaching into more of a learning platform than simply teaching.
    4. Economic: Intentional in spending money (limiting our spending every time we visit the shops)
    5. Physical: Being more aware of context and dress accordingly/ Exercise (run 20 minutes twice a week)
    6. 언어: (Greek) Practicing some speech both in English and my native mother tongue (Rengma), Talk with the locals more,
    7. Social: Reach out and engage more with people who visit our community (guests) and make sure to learn something from them. Also, maintain communication with people around me (to begin with hahaha). (Call or text at least one person every day)

      A follow up:

      1. Psychological: My worship time with God has been sweeter. Though timings may vary from day to day, I am trying my best not to dismiss it as a routine.
      2. Cultural: A little slow-paced but it is going. As for piano, I am practicing but it’s not as consistent as I would like it to be.
      3. Knowledge: I failed to start relearning Greek but that’s on my list! I have been able to apply some interesting methods to learn and teach my students so that’s a win.
      4. Economic: A little more aware of my spending but still needs a lot of work. Will start a proper file on spending money.
      5. Physical: I have been able to hop on with running and stretching so this one’s doing the best out of every other habits.
      6. 언어: I have been trying to incorporate Rengma dialect into my everyday life but other than that, I do need to branch out more with the other languages.
      7. Social: I see an improvement here. Not a 100 percent but definitely a massive improvement. I have been texting and reaching out to people more than before.
