“12 and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you,” (1 Thessalonians 3:12 ESV)
Love is from God. When I try to love my neighbors and come up short, I need to turn to God. In fact, I must go to God always for his everlasting & overflowing love, so that I may share it with others.

Sometimes I lose sight of my identity and worth in Christ. I focus too much on my shortcomings and failures. Through today’s message I was reminded of my God-given identity.
Application: “a royal priesthood” emphasizes personal relationship with God, and a responsibility unto others to lead them to relationship with God. My small application is to spend more time in intercessory prayer each day – an hour, set apart for praying for the people I serve.

Bad time habit: Sleeping late. I wake up before 5 on most days for an early morning prayer meeting. I need to sleep earlier (say 10 instead of 11 or 11:30) to make sure my mornings are happier and more energetic.
Habit I want to create: Making lots of time for others. I want to make more opportunities to connect and share the gospel. My goal is to have 1 interpersonal activity every day, online or offline.

Effective stewardship begins with awareness and acceptance that we need to set goals. Thank you for sharing!

I like the honesty! Saving & Faith go hand-in-hand – though we must indeed trust that God provides for all of our needs and that we will never lack, we must also be faithful stewards.

I love the specificity! Keep us posted 🙂
